I love Martha Steward's crafty stuff, especially her craft tools. With this set of cards I used one of her Punch Around the Page punch sets and the Peg Stamp Starter Kit.I love the colours of the inks included in the kit.I chalked the edges to match and added a little bit of glitter and glossy accents.
I love easel cards and I love Polka Doodles so I will share a card I made this time for my son.
I used papers from Polka Doodles Not for the Girls CD rom and I shaped the shirt from an A4 sheet of paper. I used textured card for the Tie.
Okay, just to get started I will share with you a card I made for my husband's birthday which was yesterday. He has been learning to play the piano for a couple of years and is making steady progress with his Grades and a Grand Piano would be the ultimate reward for all his hard work. For now he has to make do with this card !!
I used background papers from the Polka Doodles Not for the Girls CD rom, music score on vellum which I bought somewhere I forget and the piano was from the Quickutz Silhouette digital designs. I made the circle texts myself on Microsoft Word.

I have always loved creating and making things since I was very little and I had the advantage of being part of a family with many creative and artistic talents.Sewing was my first craft and cooking has always been an enjoyable interest. I became interested in card-making and scrapbooking a few years ago. Now I can add paper-crafts to the long list of creative activities I thoroughly enjoy.I have a lot to learn so this is my crafting journey but don't be surprised if I share some of my other interests x
