Trick or Treat ?

I have never, ever made a Halloween card or other Halloween related craft before now and to be honest as a family we have never really got into the 'spirit' (ha-ha) of Halloween. I think I am too much of a Scared-y-Cat !! Nevertheless, I have conquered my fear of ghosts and witches and put together this design to share with you.

I used one of those cheap brown bags from a pound shop and put together a design made up mainly from digital images,machine and hand-cut shapes and die-cut lettering. The background paper is Basics Kraft from BasicGrey and the yellow moon and tag is Bazzill basics.I used gardener's string to tie on the tag.

Intentionally,I high lighted the letters EAT in the word TREAT.

Pretty Birdie

I have been wanting to try out some digital images from Silhouette for a while and finally got around to it this week. I have used my favourite easel card style card and chose soft pastel colours to compliment the bird image.


I used Bazzill card in a pale green for my basic card shape and formed the design with papers from Basic Grey Porcelain paper pad. I embellished with flowers and gems from stash and added leaves using X cut embossing punch and one of Nellie's punches.

An Apple for the Teacher

It won't be long before the End of Term for our Schools (I can hear the Mum's and Dad's shouting "Nooo,it's ages yet" and the teachers whispering "yessss!!"), so for the hard-working Teachers who teach my gorgeous and very clever Grandchildren I have started to make some Thank-You cards just for them.



I love shaped cards so appropriately I have made cards in the shape of Apples (for the Teacher!). I used the apple template from Anna Marie Designs,BasicGrey kioshi paper together with flowers and other bits from my stash. The sentiment was stamped using Paula Pascual's mixed sentiments by Personal Impressions.
