In the Garden

I don't know if this little girl has a name but I think she is really cute and I have been wanting to use her for a while. She was kindly given to me by Lindsey who has been encouraging me to colour in images. (It's not perfect Linds but I'm still trying x )

I coloured the image with Promarkers this time and used ink from a Big and Juicy ink pad to create the sky ( I didn't have anything else, so needs must !). The card base is Bazzill and the vibrant DP's are BasicGrey Lime Rickey.

I love dimension and layers on my cards so this time I have added flowers taken from a Polka Doodle CD - I think it was Sugar Birdies and I computer generated the sentiment which I have mounted on to a Piggy Tale Spring - quite appropriate I thought considering the 'Spring' challenges I hope to enter lol x

I would like to enter this into the following :
1.Scrapbook Sisters Card Challenge 25 - Spring
2.Fab'n'Funky Challenge 62 - Spring into Action
3.Creative Inspirations Challenge 101 - In the garden
4.Crazy4Challenges 77 - A Sketch ( I used this sketch for my card today)

Promarker Fun

I have been continuing with my quest to colour with Promarkers and although I have called this Post 'Fun' in reality it wasn't all fun but at the same time I enjoyed it, if that makes sense ! I spent hours colouring in the same image which I had stamped several times over and over again. I tried different colour combinations and the result was a few that I thought were reasonable. I found it best to use my watercolour pencils to colour the face and skin areas. The stamp is another Polka Doodles Flutterfly called Babsie. I don't usually go for bold colours but the colours I used for Babsie dictated these complimentary papers.

The papers are BasicGrey lime rickety which I won in a raffle at The Scrapbook Shop ages ago.I used 3 different patterns. The sentiment I made myself on Word and positioned it to look like a flower on a long stem. I have added 3 flower shaped faux brads (1 I have used as the centre of a fabric flower) and I just had to add some MS butterflies.
As I have done all this work I am going to try to enter this card in to a few Challenges :
PD Blog Challenge 30
Cute Card Thursday
Squiggle Stamps August Challenge
